Veronica Cancio De Grandy has been appointed Managing Director of EU Business School’s (EU) campus

in Munich, one of Europe’s largest economic hubs. Cancio De Grandy is taking up this position after

being the group’s Communications Director for over two years.

Dr. Dirk Craen, President of the EU Group, said that this appointment was an important strategic

move for the institution. “Veronica has had a strategic hand in some of our most recent milestones

like our international 40th anniversary event in Barcelona and the strategic planning and execution

of our group’s magazine, ON. She knows the EU Group well and I believe she will be a great asset.”

The former Editor-in-Chief of Miami Living and MacDirectory magazines, Cancio De Grandy has a

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University, a Master of Arts

in international Journalism (with honors) from City University and a postgraduate diploma in

Advertising Design and Creativity from ELISAVA Barcelona School of Design and Engineering.

Veronica Cancio De Grandy had worked in the U.S.A., U.K. and Spain before accepting this position in

Germany. In this new role with the EU Group, she will organize and support the local campus

staff in their daily operations, with a particular focus on operations, marketing, communication and

relationship management.
